Yes, I does actually. The spacer goes "under" the baseplate, so the boot
still attaches to the original position. One interesting result, and I
don't want to get mine, or anyone else's hopes up...yet. But it *appears*
that the addition of the spacer creates an interference fit that has the
effect of pinching the bottom side of the boot between the spacer and the
baseplate. The result *seems* to actually hold the boot more firmly on!!!!
THIS IS NOT FINAL. But I am very optimistic of this unintended benefit.
Boots that stay in place?? What a concept!
