Chris
Try shutting off the engine with the kill switch instead of the ignition
switch. Do it several times. My 99 Sprint ST got to where it wouldnt idle.
I tried that and it worked. A friend of mine has a 98 TBird Sport-started
running on two, and the tach would go to zero. Shut it off 4 or 5 times
with the kill switch, and problem disappeared. One of the dealers told me
that this "kinda resets the computer". Sounds fishy-but its worked for me a
couple of times. Try it, at least it wont do any harm to your bike.
