[ST] RE: Coolant Level

Hi all,

What IS the function of the coolant tank?

I've just had most of the cooling system to bits (including the tank) and
could only surmise that it's an *overflow* tank, i.e. the only routes into
it are from:

a) the tank filler cap
b) the pressure vent around the neck of the radiator filler cap (one of the
tubes).

The only route out of the tank is the vent to open air (the other tube),
which exits round by the back of the front sprocket.

Is this right?
