Re: [ST] Installated Frame Slider & Daytona Shifter

Hey STeve,
Can you give me some more info on the Daytona shifter. Is it just a
standard replacement part? For what year Daytona (if it makes any
difference) ? From where did you get it? Cost?
Sounds like a mod I'd like to add. Will appreciate any info you can give.
Thanks, Bill

On another note. For anyone following the recent thread on improving the
feel of the front brake. I tried the suggestion from the T5 list about tying
back the brake lever overnight. It seems to have made a small improvement,
but I really haven't had time to give it a fair/thorough trial. Of course,
don't know how long it might last, either. One short ride to work yesterday,
today it's raining. Going out of town for a few days, but upon return plan to
pull the front calipers and try moving the pistons in and out per the other
suggestion from the T5 list. Will let you know if it helps. Bill
