Dunno if it works as well as your method but it works.
You've got me all curious now so I reckon I'll have a peek at the mirrors again
and maybe try tapping a thread for an allan bolt to see how the two methods
compare.
Yes, the mirrors still fold properly with the washers and bolt fix.
