RE: [ST] Oil overflow

It sounds very similar to a problem I had with my '01 RS. The problem was
the centrifugal oil baffle in the left hand crankcase, the original part
(which a '00 RS will definitely have) had a cast plastic centre which was
not perfectly round and would let oil past and into the air box if rode
hard. The new part has a machined centre and fits with a better tolerance,
the part will be changed under warranty by Triumph and takes a couple of
hours.

Subject: [ST] Oil overflow

Hi everyone,

Just noticed today a few drops of oil on the floor below my sweet RS.
Checked quickly and discovered it came out of one of the two black tubes on
the right side of the bike. The oil on the floor is pretty black but there
is fresh oil in the bike. I have been through the archives with no luck so
far.

Any advise?
