Hi Chris,
I can offer a (relatively) simple solution.
BOSCH offers a Mini Horn with 125dB output - the FC-9. It should be available in the USA - Bosch has an USA-Website www.boschusa.com.
It's relatively easy to change the original horn to the Bosch FC-9 and there are no other changes necessary.
