Mike,
No, I actually changed the fluid two weeks ago. I just decided this weekend
to do the caliper piston squeeze. The fluid change didn't really make a
difference in the mushy, it was the piston expansion/compression play that
made the difference in the brakes grabbing quicker. How that will last I
don't know, 4/20 was the first time I did it.
I just changed the fluid because it was getting to be more carmel color, and
since I live in a very humid place moisture is a problem, and brake fluid
gets darker with the more moisture it absorbs. I generally replace the
brake fluid in all my vehicles once/yr.
