I think it is caused by something rattling at a high rate.  Mine does it 
when it is cold out, and keeps going until the bike is heated up.  I've read 
before that some people have had theirs replaced under warranty, and I've 
also read that you can shift the position of it to keep it from buzzing.  I 
haven't done anything with mine yet, it doesn't happen any more since the 
weather has gotten warm.
