So, did I leave the parking light on?.....don't know.
I did this once, running late for a BART train, switched off in a hurry,
came back to a non-starting Flash. It made me so mad I built a little
circuit from a couple of relays and a buzzer, that buzzes if the
position light is on bit the headlights aren't. (I discovered that I
needed to include both the high beam AND low beam in the equation as the
buzzer would sound when I had originally just used the low beam. Low
beam is actually off when high beam is on). Anyway, it has saved me
three times since. If anyone is interested I can send a schematic.
