There are a lot of resources on that issue. There is a lot of knowledge
and third party kit for lowering the SV650. It is fairly popular
on the short biker list. A firend of mine owns a EX500, and is very
much looking forward to getting a SV650 in a year or so.
If there are inseem issues, check out the short bikers list, sorry,
no email or URL handy.
Anyway, from what I have heard, it is a great bike.
