I bought the JR Phoenix pants a couple months ago, and
I like them.  Because of the knee armor blocking some
frontal air, the differnece in coolness between these
and denim jeans isn't really that noticeable (and then
you factor in the engine heat flowing right through).
However, they provides lots more protection than
jeans, and I can zip them over my work Khakis for the
morning commute (and they zip right on to the JR
jacket, making it less likely to ride up).

Dragin' Jeans might be OK, but I couldn't wear them at
work.  And I just can't stand those stretchy jeans
with the built-in armor.  They look sooo 80's hair
band.
