Bike won't start

I am only three months into Triumph ownership so I do not know much =
about the bike.  Need help.

Through June, July, and into August I rode 5600 miles without a problem. =
  Got home and let the bike sit for about three weeks and now it won't =
start.

1. Battery is not the problem as starter turns over.  Battery from =
healthy ZRX did not start Triumph either.
2. Checked the 30 amp fuses and they are fine.

It sounds to me like engines sound when they won't start due to lack of =
fuel but I am only guessing.

What are the first things to check on a 2002 Sprint ST (other than =
trade-in value)?
