Re: [ST] rear shock options

Unfortunatly there aren't many options out there, that I know of. Ohlins
and Penske are the main ones. There is rumor that WP might have one, I
posted back and forth with a guy on T595.net who is looking into that.
Haven't heard back on it. Unfortunatly we can't use a Daytona/Speed Triple
shock becuase the top mount is different. Race Tech won't do a rebuild on
the OEM becuase it's a sealed shock. LE might, like they do with the ST1100
shocks, but I don't have a confirmation on that.

I know just a foutain of good news ain't I? If you find something that will
work as an alternate I would definatly like to hear about it.

Hey gang,

Besides the big dollar options like Ohlins, what other rear shock options
do we have? Do shocks from VFR's or others fit/work for us?

I'm looking to replace and hopefully improve some, so looking for
options. Don't know for sure what OEM costs yet but would like to price
that against some alternatives if we know any.
