Cages already have a standardized set of diagnostics and a standardized
plug-in interface that is driven by the SAE it's called OBD-II
(www.obdii.com). I don't think there isn't a critical mass in the bike world
to drive this today. It's only been in the past couple of years that
electronic controls have started eeking into bikes and not really in the
main stream. Think in mass market terms, Honda is just now putting EFI on
it's 600. How man Harley's have carbs verses EFI? When there's critical mass
in the market it will happen but probably not until then.
