Re: [ST] 190 on rear

NO, this is not flame bait at all. Read what I've written. Your truck
tires do have a larger contact patch, but because there is more weight on
each tire supporting a 4400 pound truck compared to a 650 pound motorcycle
and rider.

Come on guys, think! How big would the rear contact patch get if you put
2000 pounds in the rear of your truck without changing the pressure?

Is this flame bait? It sure does smell in here. My truck tires
are kept at 32 PSI, and my front bike tire is close at 34-36,
I can guarantee that the truck tires have much larger contact
patches.

As far as the TF dragster, we won't even get into the dynamics
of those vehicles, the length is a combination of many factors,
I would GUESS that one of the main factors is that they want to
put as long of a lever on as little down force(ie. drag) as
possible. As well, a longer vehicle is going to be more stable
at 325 MPH. I am still completely amazed at how they keep the
front end down on those cars!
