Mike,

If you don't have the alarm installed, don't worry about it. I broke the
leads off of my LED awhile ago while doing some work with the front fairing
off. I just left it as is since I don't have an alarm installed. IMO, the
design on that thing is poor...LED's wires hanging out like that. They need
to be inserted into something more substantial.
