I do that too, sometimes.  Granted, I dont think I do
it wuite the scale that you do, the most I've done in
a single day is somewhere betwees 250-300 miles
(roundtrip).

There are prizes, however, it's still not determined
if they are the time between wherever you start and
wherever the road you're on takes you (journey) , or
if it's wherever the road you're on takes you (destination).
