[ST] Blue Ridge Trip in Early May

Linda,
	That is a great time to do the trip. We normally host our annual
"Motherless Mother's Day" weekend ride to Deal's Gap, the Cherohala
Skyway (made for the Sprints), Thunder Road, and all the rest of the
tasty twisties. This year we have had to adjust to accommodate two or
three of the couples that wanted to come up and join us. You will be
pleasantly surprised by the lack of traffic (including bikes) on
Mother's Day. For the last three years we have run Deal's Gap on MD
Sunday with NO other bikes even on the road. It struck us as strange the
first year, the second year we thought we might be onto something, last
year we just giggled like mad all the way up and down the Gap about
twelve times! WOO HOO! Have a great trip. If you would like some local
motorcycle maps of the area (Thunder Road is NOT to be missed) with
descriptions of the roads and rankings, just say the word and I'll get
right on it.
