You mean like now?

I think you're right though...The Ford T-bird has been
around since the mid 50's (55?) and was in continuous
production until the '97 model, I think. This was done
so the shop could retool for the new design they
currently have, which is, IMO, love-it-or-hate-it.

Honda had a motorcycle model called Shadow, which
Dodge/Chrysler/Plymouth had a car model called Shadow.
