[ST] RE: (ST) Headlamp relays

Andy,

On the S3 the pipes are tucked under the bodywork at the taillight (the exit
through the mudguard) but run semi-underseat, semi-alongside the side panels
nearer the front of the pipe to allow for full suspension travel. I don't think
they'd work with the soft luggage without some modifications. One option might
be to have Jorge make you up a set of cans with heat shields for the bags to
rest against? It might be worth dropping him an email and see if he can offer
any ideas.

Also, They did make a prototype pipe for an RS that was a twin pipe within a
single skin. In other words, it's a twin exit oval that genuinely has two pipes,
not just two exits like some cheaper brands. It should flow like a twin but
weighs less and should work with the luggage.
