Re: [ST] rear brake

Chris,

Yep YMMV very much. I replaced my first set of rear brake pads at 5K miles
- - worn down to the metal. I hardly use the rear brake at all so this came
as a shock to me. Seems the rear brakes on these bikes tend to stick. I'm
planning to pull mine apart and rebuild, but haven't done so yet. But the
rear brake disc will be too hot to touch after a 10 mile ride and no or very
light use of the pedal. Dave porbably has this same "feature" on his
brakes....

Wow, I know that YMMV, but 3 in 14K miles? I still have my OEM at 16K! You
do know there is a front brake, don't you? ;)

I replaced the rear (stock-type) brake pads the other day (3rd set in 14,000

miles on my 1999 ST),
