RE: [ST] Phoenix was not first

Yep...There has been discussion about heat flow mods for the ST's fairing,
prompted by the engine heat that is directed towards the rider's legs. I had
no idea what people were talking about until I took a ride one day without
my leather jeans on (perf).

I've never ridden without my jacket on. I have the Triumph Horizon
jacket...vents down the front of both sleeves, two horizontal vents on
either side of the chest, and three large exhaust vents on the back. I
haven't ridden in 105 degree weather, but I've been comfortable in the upper
90's as long as I'm moving.

Interesting comment. While riding in EXTREME heat with the radiating temps
off tarmac hovering at what? 150 deg. F? I have actually put a non-perf.
jacket back on after going a bit with just tshirt. I don't own a mesh/perf
jacket but the radiating heat can be so extreme it feels better to have a
jacket on to protect you from the heat.

Anyone else experienced this?
