But you did forgot to mention additional benefits of Canada for Americans:
1. A most excellent exchange rate - great for shopping!
2. Cheap prescription drugs - why pay twice the price if you don't have to?
3. Same culture, but nobody hates you - a friend said on his last trip to 
the mideast that the #1 item of clothing for American tourists was "anything 
with a Canadian flag on it".
