Check  http://www.gpscentral.ca/.....they have excellent prices and service
on all units. I bought a GPS V from them and am extremely happy.

I think my wife paid $300 for my Garmin III+, brand new. Check prices for
new ones online. My personal policy on used electronics is to take the new
price and discount it by 50%. Unkown history, no warranty, etc.

A neighbor wants to sell me his Garmin GPSlll plus for US$300.00. It is in
good shape . He also has the CD's  for map download with it. Is this a good
deal? Is there a better unit I should look at?
