Have you considered a tail pack?  The RKA tail pack is the best piece of 
soft luggage I've ever seen.  The mounting system mounts to the seat and is 
amazingly strong, doesn't touch the paint so no scratches and you can custom 
order the pack in any color scheme you like (I like black!).  10 second 
mounting, doesn't get in the way of your gas cap and doesn't cover that cool 
Triumph logo on the tank!
