I also read that report on the Metzeler Sportec M-1 in Motorcycle Consumer
News, and like what I read. I just don't know if I'm ready for a full-out
sport tire. I've run the stock BT-020's pretty hard, and never been
disappointed. (OK, there was this once....new tires, 25 miles on them, 90
deg LH turn a bit too much lean = lowsided it.)

Thanks for the link, those are some very nice prices on a newly-released
tire. For very little more money than the BT020, I just might give them a
try in the spring. I'll be due for new sneakers again by April.
