I have found my fuel consumption has remained constant regardless of the
various bag and pillion combinations that can be achieved. This is probably
because the more heavily laden/encumbered the bike the more restrained my
riding style. When I say the low fuel light invariably comes on at 170 miles I
mean 'invariably' (+ or - 5 miles). However, I had a new tune and 12K service
in November and haven't covered any great distance so far so I will be
interested to see how the mpg goes from here.
