You have to assume that they may not have seen you, at the same time it 
isn't a good idea to go screeching to a halt every time someone starts 
to shove their nose out. If you do you are just training drivers to pull 
out in front of bikes. Own your space but be prepared to take avoiding 
action.

Yup, about as informative as a dog barking.

One more thing, avoid riding purple bikes.
