RE: [ST] Triumph Sweden insurance cost up 206%

I was surfing susab just now and saw that they actually now were a real
insurance company (they were just agents before to a insurance agent in
Aland/finland that in there turn had there insurance in a british
company).

I had my former bike (a Suzuki GSX) at susab before they decided to
increase the cost for all sportbikes but it seems like they are back
down on there costs again, atleast on my RS.

www.susab.com <--- they answer an email in just hours.

Kyle!

Long time since I saw a post from you.

It doesn't look like it. Although according to IF the Triumph insurance
program still exists it's just that the premiums are now more in line
with other bikes. Apart from the Daytona of course which has been
booted out.

If you own a Daytona then I suspect the answer is yes. Which means in
Sweden sales of Daytonas are likely to drop through the floor. Makes me
even more glad that I swapped my Daytona for a Sprint last Spring.

Try calling Teletrade Försäkring on 08 566 100 00. They take all your
details and then call up all the insurance companies on your behalf to
try and get a decent quote. It's free and they'll either check premiums
while you wait or they'll call you back. I tried them yesterday and
they got me a quote from SUSAB for 5400:-, which is 2000:- cheaper than
the 2002 IF premium. However I got a mail from Jonaz (another Swedish
lister) and he mentioned some dodgy experiences with SUSAB so I will be
checking the terms and conditions of the insurance very thoroughly.
