There is the problem stated exactly, it's a shame that no one knows that
*no* look is *required*.  It is content, navigability (word?) and
compatibility that *is required*, but management and designers get
together and it's the programmer that has to find a way to comply, most
often at the sacrifice of many of the above requirements.

I hope so, and I hope others I've run into lately do as well.  Back when I
was learning HTML those teaching like Laura Lemay stressed the importance
of content over appearance.  The design entered in with navigation.  

Too bad people get lost.  I miss gopher.
