I have the exact same experince on my RS with the Triumph tankbag (the
small non flexible). When it's windy it feels kind of scary to go in
high speed. I have the original windscreen.

Interesting. Turbulence is *increased* with my rather un-aerodynamic
Triumph tank bag installed. It's sufficiently annoying that I've been
working on a harness to install the bag on the rear of the seat & just
have the map holder on the tank. YMMV.
How about some additional input here. Do the lower profile
curved-contour tankbags affect turbulence?
