Re: [ST] last bit of Mini bits

OK, I've been sitting on my hands long enough. I know this isn't
a Mini LiST, but I've gotta ask. How many former [reformed] or
current [really dedicated] Mini owners do we have on this list?

My former Mini, a black over red '67 Cooper S 1293, engine SN
9FSAY46288, was reputed to be the last one to be *leagally*
imported to the US west coast. I bought it from the asst.
service manager at BMC Portland with 12k miles & autocrossed it
[quite sucessfully] for 4 years.

ST content: Like the ST, they were quick, nimble, fun to drive &
WAY faster than most people thought. :o)

If anyone is looking for a Mini, I have a friend in British
Columbia who restores them beautifully.
