"I too would like to have the dealer book all stamped, but I am
comfortable that
having an accurate written record of how I maintained the bike will
carry even more
weight, both for a warrenty claim, and when I sell the machine (IF I
ever sell the
machine)."
I don't think every dealer will do this, but I have a special
relationship with one of mine and I do all the maintainence I can, bring
the bike in for the stuff I can't or don't have time for, and my dealer
stamps my book. (I call him and ask enough stupid questions that he
KNOWS I've done the work!) I also keep all the reciepts for parts I use
(oil, filters, etc.) If you can work this out, the Triumph workshop
manual even has a handy check-box page to keep track of what's been done
and what's needed. Tri. Part Number T3854095 is the English Sheet.
