Re: Subject: [ST] Honest opinions please

want my opinion ?? didn't think so, anyway.......have bought 3 triumphs from
howells/appalachian triumph. all setup work, maintenance etc has been
performed by jeff whitmyer and/or jim young. still ride the 96 Tbird <25K
miles> the 00 sprint St <25K miles> and sold a 76 tiger <that roger kirwan
rebuilt for me>. oh, and i had a 98 sprint sport <10K miles in 1 yr of
ownership> which i traded in on the st.

never had a problem with any of these bikes.....am i an unusually lucky guy
?....i think not. i have NEVER bought a knock-off $2 oilfilter, used
wal-mart oil @ $1.00/qt, etc.....i 'm sure you can see where i'm going. i
feel jim howell imbued his service department with the needed attitude. do
your best with set-up and aftermarket service and the customer will always
stick with you.
i know "some" who have not gotten over jim's retirement, but i am glad that
brian and barb have kept these fine gentlemen on in the service department,
and i know, i will
continue to patronize this dealership as long as both of us are around......
