Don't know if it's one piece or not. I had mine out once and couldn't
even see how to get the wiring disconnected from the switch.
But I can tell you that to get the switch out, you remove the clip-ons
and the triple clamp. There are 2 bolts on the bottom holding it in
place. You don't have to drill them out, they are 4mm. Be careful not
to strip them.
