Heh.  Sorry to hear about your episode.  At least the bike didn't go
over, which is what I thought when I saw the subject.

I don't remember if I read about it here or somewhere else, but I always
take the spare set of keys with me on a long trip and keep them on my
person.  I do it more in case I lose the originals, but your story is
also a good reason to have them--so you can get to the toolkit.

BTW, I've found another place objects like to fall is inside the blades of
the radiator fan, inside the shroud.
