An excellent suggestion with only one foreseeable problem: Having enough
leverage with the 8-1/2" handle to either loosen the nut or tighten it
anywhere near the required 146NM.

I had thought of that, there's always a chance the adjustment tool handle
may slip over the end to give a bit more levearage. But any tool is better
than no tool if/when you need it.
