It is probably true because IMHO I think the majority of motorcycle dealers,
like Auto dealers, don't care after the sale is made.  There are very few
good mechanics, and the few that are good don't get paid enough to stay.  I
know several very good mechanics, one now became a Service Manager so he's
not getting his hands dirty anymore and it pays better, and the others I
know now work for big companies like CAT or utility companies as Fleet
mechanics.

Maybe if shops paid the good mechanics better they'd be working on our
vehicles (car and Bike) instead of heavy equipment or fleet vehicles.
