What I know about tune regression (was [ST] Bike Fixed)

I remember there were problems when they tried to regress back to an earlier
tune on my original ST. The problem had to do with the card/(disk?) that the
dealer uses to download the tune from the Triumph website.  The card had to be
new, he couldn't download an earlier tune onto a card that had been upgraded to
the latest tune.  With a new card you can regress tunes.  (I seen it done)
