Re: [ST] Mushy rear-end

G'day Val

Get your dealer to check the rear shock absorber. I had a similar problem
which I thought at first was the battleaxe tyres but turned out to be a
defective shock had leaked whilst in storgae and consequently had no damper
control, rear end was very "squeamish" under power out of corners and set up
an unusual beading pattern on the tyre, Replaced under warranty, having a
good time with it now.

Cheers, Chris 01 955ST

By the way, mine is plated 8/01 in case that helps identify a defective
batch of shocks.
