[ST] trophy not sprint/fuel gauge

I totally agree,It's what I have been waiting for, so have swapped the
ageing Trophy for a 2002 st in the meantime
I am in the process of running mine in, the first 90klms the fuel gauge did
not move except when turning off the keyAt 180 kays the gauge suddenly
dropped to the red line & sat there for a while. When I fueled up at 210
kays it only took 10 ltrs.
How accurate are these gauges??

.> know we have been all over this topic, but I haven't heard this view of
the Yamaha. I think we are mistaken to compare this to our ST's, this Yamaha
fits the same slot as the Trophy. I don't see Triumph redesigning our ST's
to go head to head with the Yamaha, I see them redesigning the Trophy to go
head to head. Everything about the new Yamaha reminds me of what the next
generation Trophy will be, bigger motor, shaft drive, adjustable windscreen,
higher pulled back bars. I don't want Triumph to alter the direction of the
ST to compete with this Yamaha. I believe there are two distinct classes of
Sport Tourers and the Sprint ST and Trophy clearly define that.<
