There is a company(s) that makes a turbo kit for the ST as well.  I
forgot the link, but search for turbo in the archives and you should
find it.

Hrm, most Triumph dealers are very good about test rides.  In fact, I
believe they're required to log so many demo miles each year.  You might
call around to local dealers and ask about a demo ride.  I test rode an
RS before I bought my ST and they would have let me take it out for a
couple hours if I'd wanted.
