[ST] RE: st-digest V2002 #143



I was wondering if anyone
on the list knew how Triumph achieved that increase, besides the
increase in compression? Cam timing/phasing? Improved fuel management
system? Larger throttle bodies? On and on.

Mainly new heads with narrower valve angle and different valve sizes. I'm
sure the cams are different, too. The compression got bumped, too. There are
new, lighter cases. I don't recall about the injector bodies but the ports
are revised. The alternator is repositioned to the crank end.
