first impressions on the 10mi ride from the dealer:

1) Pretty much identical in power to the '01 RS I rode last week (both 
kept under 4500RPM)
2) The 02's idle noise 'gargle' isn't that much improved over the 01's
3) Shifter did feel smoother -- but often went right through into 1st on 
a half-click from 2nd
4) The Triumph stainless can is certainly good enough -- nice getting 
the 'bespoke' tune chip for it, too

Planned Mods:

1) Philips SilverVision silvered indicator bulbs (if they fit), to get 
rid of the sunnyside-up-look
2) Philips VisionPlus H4's
