Sorry to hear that.  the good news is that it was your gear and not you.
Thanks for your story it's a good lesson. I wear a helmet, jacket with
armor, 8" boots and good carbon fiber/Kevlar gloves.  But only work pants
with jeans over them.  I've avoided lower leathers due to our warm So. Cal
weather.  I'll re-think that.  Sorry for your crash.  Val
