RE: [ST] CF Race Can Destiny
Ed, I had the CF can installed a couple of weeks ago on my 01 BRG and it
sounds a lot better. Probably only about 25% louder but a much more
distinctive tone to it. I haven't noticed any significant power gains, but
wasn't really expecting to. I was still breaking it in when I had the can
put on so maybe it's a little more responsive, who knows. I am expecting
some response improvement when my 18" front sprocket arrives.

Ed,
It was my understanding that downloading a new tune is a very quick
operation and has been done free of charge. Maybe I'm wrong. It seems they
just hook up their gameboy and hit a couple of buttons. Hardly $30 worth of
work, which would traslate to about a half an hour at normal shop rates. Are
they installing the can as well? If so, then an extra $30 is very
inappropriate!
Good luck,
