[ST] bulbs, matching, led fix?

Welp, the VisionPlus bulbs are finally installed, and they look great!  
But I gotta say I'm a bit disappointed that the W5W for the cyclops eye
that PowerBulbs sent along doesn't match better, anyone else have better
luck?

And this being the second time I've had the nose off, the brittle led
leads finally broke off the led.  What's the fix?

Also knocked out the cutting of a template and the installation of the 3M
film protection over the headlights - film available at Aerostich.com.
