Re: [ST] Long distance subject continued

Mike I've owned 2 BMW R1100RT's and speaking from experience I
think you'll be sorry. I can undersatnd the leg room issue I have
some problem in that area too. But while the RT has some positive
sides for me the badly surging fuel injection and the slowness, and
motor that feels like a tractor are real deal breakers. If you need a
bike with more leg room I'd STRONGLY suggest you check out the
Aprilia Futura it has leg room like an RT but also has the power and
performance the RT lacks. Also check out the Honda ST1300 which will
be out soon and will crush the RT across the board and last but not
least the forth comming Yamha FJR1300 will also have the leg room
you're looking for... Oh and of course don't forget there is
supposed to be a new TRIUMPH Trophy soon! And if it's a BMW you have
to have I'd check out the K1200RS it has been upgraded for 02 with
more leg room/ better ergo's and there are several peg lowering kits
to give it even more leg room plus the K1200RS is fast!!!
