I'm up to about a quart every 1500-2000 miles or so, give or take a
bit. It seems to be coming through the valve seals, so the oil
consumption is dependant on how I'm riding. Oil consumption went down
when I switched from Mobil 1 15W-50 to the 'regular' 20W-50 Mobile oil
(in the blue bottle). No signs of oil fouling on the plugs though, and
the engine isn't gonna come out until there is. Well, that or I can't
carry enough oil with me on trips.
